Description: Setting off from your hotel we head towards the Tierra Mayor Valley, where our Musher instructor will welcome us with an introductory talk on huskies and dog-sledding and a visit to the dog kennels. Then we’ll begin our sled driving instruction, getting to know the techniques for setting them up and steering them.

We’ll put the harnesses on the dogs, hook up the sleds and at the command of SIGA! The experience will be underway. This dog-sled adventure is going to be both fun and intense; as you catch a feel for mushing you’ll lead the dog-sled caravan deep into the snow filled valley towards the Woodsman’s refuge where we’ll take on some much needed calories; after resting, both dogs and mushers alike will take up the odyssey again, travelling through woods, over frozen rivers and experiencing the magic of the silent white landscape.
